Return & Refund Policy for Crazy Kat Outfitters Hat Shop

At Crazy Kat Outfitters, we strive to ensure you love your hats and custom designs. However, if you’re not completely satisfied, here’s how we handle returns and refunds:

1. Returns Eligibility

  • Standard Hats: Unworn, unused, and in original condition (tags attached, packaging intact) may be returned within [insert number, e.g., 30 days] of delivery.

  • Customized Hats: Due to the personalized nature of these items, returns are only accepted if there is a manufacturing defect, damage during shipping, or an error on our part (e.g., incorrect design placement).

  • Non-Returnable Items: Gift cards, final sale items (clearly marked), and hats altered after delivery.

2. Refund Process

  • Approved Returns: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 7–10 business days after we receive and inspect the item.

  • Shipping Costs: Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility unless the return is due to our error.

  • Store Credit: Optionally, you may request store credit for faster processing.

3. Exchanges

  • Exchanges are available for size or style changes (if stock allows). For customized hats, exchanges require reprocessing and may incur additional fees.

4. How to Initiate a Return

  1. Contact Us: Email rob@crazykatoutfitters.com within 7 days of delivery to explain the issue. Include your order number and photos (for defects).

  2. Authorization: We’ll provide a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and instructions.

  3. Ship Back: Securely package the item and mail it to:

5. Damaged or Defective Items

  • Notify us immediately if your order arrives damaged or defective. We’ll cover return shipping and expedite a replacement or refund.

  • Our Error: If we misplace your logo, use incorrect colors, or make a mistake, we’ll re-create your hat at no cost.

  • Your Error: Double-check design files before submission. We’re not responsible for typos, low-resolution images, or design choices you later dislike.

7. Final Sale Items

Clearance or discounted items marked “Final Sale” cannot be returned or exchanged.

8. International Returns

Customers outside United States may be responsible for customs fees, return shipping, and import taxes.
